Alright, spill the tea: How did you find yourself in the advertising industry, and what’s been the best part of your journey at VMO so far?

I stumbled into the advertising industry quite unexpectedly. Initially, my career path led me down a different avenue, but a chance opportunity via the amazing Bethany Shell (Val Morgan Cinema Account Executive) helped lead me to the world of advertising.

My favourite part of the journey so far at VMO is the team I get to work with every day and the culture they bring. For me it's inspiring to be surrounded by such a talented group of powerhouse individuals that I get to learn from daily and who not only dominate in their roles but also make my journey in the workplace an immensely rewarding and fulfilling one.

If your work ethic was a beverage, would you be a long black, a calming chamomile tea, or something a little fizzier like a crispy Coke Zero? Why does that describe your work mojo?

A margarita - they’re strong and always a great time.

If your work life had its own soundtrack, what three songs would play on repeat?

  • Bright Future in Sales -- Fountains of Wayne

  • Money, Money, Money – ABBA

  • Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger – Daft Punk

Your ideal work lunch: cooking up a five-course meal in the office microwave or embarking on a quest to find the best sanga in town?

My extravagant canned tuna, brown rice & frozen veg from home whipped up in the 5-star microwave.

If you could have the quirkiest, most unexpected line in your email signature, what would it say?

Hey, me again - Tayla.”

If your Teams background had a mind of its own, what whimsical scene or surreal landscape would it choose during your next virtual meeting?

An Inspire Cycle spin class.
