Partnership Spotlight: Coming Together In Celebration Of A Highly Successful AFL Season.

Last weekend, the VMO team attended the Brownlow Medal and AFL Grand Final, coming together with our highly valued clients for a weekend of fun in celebration of the success of the 2022 AFLW and AFL season.

VMO partnered with the AFL and AFLW, with the key partnership objectives to increase brand consideration and purchase intent, increase match day attendance, and achieve growth for the AFLW and within Northern markets.

VMO used the scale and flexibility of the Shop & Active networks to deliver alternating weekly messaging in a range of hand-selected centres in close proximity to key games each round in order to drive match attendance.

After two seasons of people watching from home, along with restrictions on attendance at the games, there was a high level of importance on getting audiences back into the stadiums this year.

The AFL had a spectacular season seeing a return to full capacity stadiums in the post-COVID era.

The results of the campaigns were a testament to the strength of both the VMO network and the AFL competition.
